This provides us with a unique dataset of readers' opinions on all of the latest news. This talk presents Opinary’s current approaches in applying deep learning to detect the underlying structures in language that drive users to engage with content. • About the Author: • Stephen Lumenta is the CTO of Opinary, where his team builds a relevance engine and engagement platform that allows millions of global readers to voice their opinion with one simple click. • He has held a number of tech lead positions with a diverse track record of growing teams and building technology, including an IoT-driven retail analytics system, a language learning platform and the controller for a multi-channel sound system that has been used at the Beijing biennale and the London Olympics. His interest in applying data to augment human activity dates back to his studies and research at the University of the Arts Berne where he applied machine intelligence to computer assisted musical composition- still one of his favorite past times.
