I made a BLT for lunch. I followed my BLT Manifesto, which states that a BLT is a tomato sandwich seasoned with bacon, from which all else follows. • Bread fried in bacon fat, just enough bacon for flavor but not so much to overwhelm the tomato, super-ripe tomatoes from my neighbor's yard, my own lettuce, Kewpie mayo.
