#Englishmastiff #India #Mastiff • owner who couldn't control his English Mastiff, and his dog attacked a bypasser in a busy street. Our statement is becoming a cliché now, as we have to repeat ourselves in every other video about not owning a dog that you can't handle. A lot of dog attacks are due to bad dog training and dogs that act as a pack leaders and over power their owners. This clip was taken in Chenai India, where a man was walking his dog in a busy street with no muzzle on when it attacked a by passer. A responsible owner would never walk his dog in a busy street without a muzzle on, unless you are fully confident that your dog doesn't have behavioural issues. Using muzzles on aggressive dogs doesn't help to control their aggression, but it can definitely stop them from attacking and biting other people or dogs. Dogs that have behavioural issues require training and proper care. Problem is people don’t treat the dog like a dog, they anthropomorphize too much on the animal and that leads to a very unhealthy relationship. • Often times the owners don’t assume leadership on the dog or don’t bother to at least one should give the dog some boundaries. Most people do not realize that a well trained dog in the long run is easier, more respected, more accepted and honestly more loved than a dog out of control. So, again before owning a dog one must know the history of that breed, and they must be ready to put in time and effort to have a well balanced dog. An out of control dog that over powers you, isn't good for the public or your own safety. So please always put a muzzle on your dog , if you have a slightest of doubt about your dog's behaviour.
