I will post another one later now that I have been to the doctor's again and learned a little more acbout my situation. Not a sob story for pity and please don't worry, I'm going to be absolutely fine -- this video aims to encourage others who are a little suspicious of something on their skin to get to a dermatologist to check it out. Better safe than sorry! • In case you're curious -- the very first biopsy was read wrong and WAS melanoma. So I walked around with cancer for at least a year not knowing I had it. Oye. Cancer-free after my second surgery in Sept. and going for skin checks every 3 months! Haven't needed another biopsy yet... as of Feb 2013, that is! • GO TO THE DERMATOLOGIST IF YOU EVER ARE WORRIED ABOUT SOMETHING! • Thanks for watching!!! • Disclaimer: I earned this melanoma with my own sad, sad skin.
