The new Cherokee competes in the small SUV segment which is one of the most competitive markets to get into. In the interior you will find everything to be very rich in materials and fit and finish to be superb which make the CR-V and the RAV4 feel low quality compared to the Cherokee. Room on the inside is decent as well, however you will find cargo room to come in a little short. On the exterior some will find the front to be stylish and aggressive and some will find it to be polarizing, however this styling does spice it up in a somewhat boring look a like sea of small SUV's. Powertrains in the Cherokee are a 2.4 L 4-Cylinder or a 3.2 L V6 paired up to a world's first 9-Speed Automatic. We recommend the V6 because of it's ample power as the 4-cylinder can feel sluggish at times and the V6 is unique to the class. Looking for 4WD and not AWD? The Cherokee is the only small SUV that offers true off road capability currently. With this all being said the Cherokee is simply more just a roomy small SUV that you take to work everyday, it's a SUV that pretty much does everything right which gives it a Camerons Car Reviews score of five out of five.
