The old town quarter of Glarus was largely destroyed by fire in 1861 and subsequently rebuilt on a grid plan. Here you can take a virtual tour through the town, from the main street to the Rathaus (town hall) Gemeindehaus (municipal offices), various squares, gardens and many other noteworthy and attractive sights.
