It’s funny how little things from childhood stick with you into adulthood. For me, growing up, music videos were such a big deal—we’d watch them together as a family, and they were always so much fun. Later, I found the Step-Up movies in my teens, starting with Step-Up Revolution (weirdly enough) before watching the others. I even went to a dance camp as a kid, and Twitch was our instructor. RIP, Twitch 🙏. I still have a picture of me and my brother with him. He was such an incredible dancer but also just a really kind person. • The Step-Up movies are these silly, fun, dance-filled gems that are just a joy to watch. So when Church by T-Pain popped up on my running playlist—you know how Spotify just makes random recommendations—it hit me with this blast of nostalgia. I went back and watched the dance scene with Channing Tatum and Briana Evigan from Step-Up 2. I’ll never forget how my boy Moose could throw down in the rain. 😄 • I knew I had to make a little video with that song, just to play around and share that piece of joy with y’all.
