Hiking the Besseggen Ridge VISIT NORWAY

The narrow and steep path up the Besseggen Ridge in Norway can take your breath away. So can the view from the top. • The hike takes 6-8 hours including breaks. It's recommended for experienced hikers, or with a guide. The ridge is steep and can be windy. You can either start hiking from the Gjendesheim tourist lodge or take the boat from Gjendesheim to Memurubu and start your hike from there. The latter is the easiest route. To ensure you get on the boat, it is wise to reserve tickets in advance.
