See a sample of what food Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offers at two of its specialty restaurants, Le Bistro (French) and La Cucina (Italian). We also included menus that include appetizers, main entrees and desserts from there. La Cucina has certainly improved from the past with much tastier dishes, plus there were a nice variety of complimentary side dishes as well. • Although both extra cost restaurants are now a-la-carte instead of a flat fee, if you have the ultimate dining package you can pick any eligible appetizer, main course dish dessert without having to pay more. If you are an NCL Platinum Member like we are, these two restaurants are included in the ones you can pick from for your free specialty dining voucher. • Our favorites were Costolette d'Agnello Avvolte in Pancetta Toscana (Pancetta-Wrapped Rack of Lamb) from La Cucina and Poelee de Saint-Jacques and Poelee de Saint-Jacques, Vinaigre de Xeres et Mousseline de Shou-Fleur (Pan Seared Jumbo Bay Scallops) from Le Bistro. • These were from our December 2016 cruise aboard the Norwegian Escape cruise ship. • #ncl
