Check for obstructions before ordering. Some cars have back-up cameras that might be in the way. You also need to make sure you have a flat area to mount the bar. Not all vehicles will have a place to mount (example: trucks and some full size vans, etc). Thoroughly clean the mounting surface. Tape is super strong so please be careful. You'll only get one chance to stick it down. The bar comes with 2 adapters. One for each of the most common types of license plate bulbs. Use the one that fits your socket. If it does not light up, simply remove the adapter, turn it around 180° and reinstall it. LEDs are polar so you have to install the adapter the correct way in order for it to light up.
