Betty, her husband (Rick), her daughter (Chelsea), and her grandson (Carter) visit Bybee Pottery in Bybee, Kentucky. Bybee Pottery is the oldest operating pottery west of the Alleghenies. It is owned and operated by Walter Cornelison and has been in the Cornelison family for five generations. I purchased a casserole dish, which I will be using to make a recipe that comes from the internet site, A Little Bit of Bybee. (I will upload it tomorrow.) If you are interested in purchasing Bybee Pottery, you can find it on that internet site. While we we at the pottery, we ordered a child's mug, to be personalized with Carter's name. When it is ready, we will go pick it up on a day when they are hand-throwing pottery on the wheel. (We missed that this time!) This was an enjoyable trip for us, and I hope you enjoy coming along!
