Proof that lawns don’t need watering! • I admit that after the drought and hosepipe bans we’ve experienced this year in the UK, I WAS a little afraid for my own green sward. I thought I’d need to reseed large sections of it, with all the associated spiking, raking and other soil prep. But wowsers, I laid off the lawn mowing for a while in a bid to let it recover, and after a couple of weeks of occasional rain, just look at now! I’ve got my soft green emerald back. HURRAY! Plants.
