In this video, Lindsey Shepard covers the modularity of the eWON Flexy and the options you have when building your Flexy. • The eWON Flexy is fully modular giving you the ability to meet today’s connectivity requirements and the flexibility to adapt to technologies available in future deployments. With a selection of 3 base models and 7 extension cards from which you can choose, your possibilities are nearly unlimited. • To build your flexy, start with choosing 1 of three base models. The Flexy 201 is equipped with a 4 port Ethernet switch. The Flexy 202 comes with an ethernet port and an RS232, 422, 485 serial port. The Flexy 203 model is equipped with an Ethernet port, and an MPI Profibus port. • Next choose from 7 extension cards to create your secure Wide Area Network connection, in other words, your connection to the outside world. • The FLA3301 card offers dual serial ports which allow you to connect any RS232, 422, or 485 serial devices. The FLX3101 card offers an Ethernet WAN port that allows you to connect your industrial assets to the internet. The FLB3202 card offers a Pentaband modem for worldwide connectivity using a 2g, 3g, or 3g+ cellular network. The FLB3271 card offers a WIFI client for WAN connection. The FLA3501 card has an industrial PSTN dial-up modem for landline connections. The FLX3402 is an I/O card with 8 Digital Inputs, 4 Analog inputs configurable in voltage or current, and 2 digital outputs for a wide variety of applications. And lastly, the FLB3601 card offers 3 USB 2.0 ports. • The bottom left of each extension card has a series of filled or outlined circles. These indicate the location in which you can insert the card into the base. For example, the FLA3301 card has 2 filled dots on the left and 2 outlined dots on the right. This means that this card can go in the 2 left-hand slots on the Flexy, but not the 2 on the right. Model FLX3101 has 4 filled dots which mean that it can be placed in any of the 4 slots on the Flexy base. • eWON offers a low-cost version of the flexy data gateway. The 100 series base models include all classical eWON features except routing capabilities between WAN, LAN and serial sides. The main applications for the flexy 100 series are data monitoring and data collection. • Open up a world of data collection and management possibilities with the Flexy industrial router and data gateway from eWON. • Watch our other eWON videos: • eWON Flexy Part 1: Industrial M2M Router Data Gateway: • eWON Flexy Industrial M2M Router Da... • eWON Cosy 131: • eWON Cosy 131 • Tech Tip: eWON Cosy 131 with WiFi: • Tech Tip: eWon Cosy 131 with Wifi • Check out more on the eWon Flexy here: https://www.ramcoi.com/hms/ewon-flexy • Buy this and thousands of other products on https://www.ramcoi.com • Connect with us on social media: • / ramcoinnovations • / ramcoinnovation • / ramco-innovations • • LEGAL DISCLAIMER: • While we have made every attempt to ensure that the information provided is accurate and has been obtained from reliable sources, Ramco is not responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the results obtained from the use of this information.
