B.Tech Lateral Entry • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) – Lateral Entry course is offered by many colleges University. The Lateral Entry program enables candidates with a 3 years diploma in engineering or an equivalent degree to get admitted directly to 2nd Year (3rd semester). • A lateral entry student is the one who directly enters into the second year of his engineering. He/she must have completed a diploma in their respective branch to be eligible for the lateral entry program. • NIOS candidates can also apply for this exam. Diploma Holders: To appear in JEE Advanced, a diploma holder can apply in JEE Main 2019.
