I spotted a big knot at the top of my left brake gallery lines. I managed to fly away from the slope and tried to get the knot out but couldn't. There are zero landing alternatives to the slope at the bottom of the ridge in Boppard. Hitting the pole next to the little cherry tree was the icing on the cake, but at least I avoided the more solid signpost with the pointy sign behind it.
