✅✅ Canon 50mm 1.8 STM: http://amzn.to/2ztYe1r • ✅✅ Canon 50mm 1.4: http://amzn.to/2iG1cb7 • ✅✅ Canon 40mm STM: http://amzn.to/2ztU61o • • ✅ Thanks to Brisbane Camera Hire for the rental of the Canon 50mm 1.4 Lens • Today I test out the autofocus sound on the brand new Canon 50mm 1.8 STM Lens and compare it to Canon 50mm 1.4. • This is the first comparison video that I will make between the new Canon 50 stm and the older Canon 50mm 1.4. • The Canon 50mm 1.4 uses it's UltraSonic Motor technology vs the Canon 50mm 1.8 STM which is use its STM technology. • I test it out in both stills autofocus and video autofocus and see if it can also be picked up on the onboard mics on the Canon 70d. • The lens is definitely going to compare well with the 50mm 1.4 and easily beats the old 50mm 1.8 II (nifty fifty). • In this video I test out the Canon 50 1.8 STM's bokeh, do some image samples, test out the video quality and test out the autofocus. • The 50mm f/1.8 STM's autofocus has greatly improved, especially when you pair the 50mm f/1.8 STM up with a camera like the Canon 70d or T6s/T6i.
