2018 VCAA Further Mathematics Exam 2

In this video, I work through the 2018 VCAA Examination 2 for VCE Further Mathematics. • I complete only the core section (Data Analysis and Recursion Financial Modelling), along with the Matrices module. Matrices is the most commonly completed module amongst Victorian students, so should be the module most relevant to the most viewers. • This examination paper, and the corresponding examination report is available at the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) website: http://bit.ly/VCAAFurther • This paper is a 90-minute examination (although in completing the core + one module I only complete 72 minutes of it), and so consequently this video is more than 1-hour long. I wouldn’t envisage that you watch the whole video, but you might find it helpful to be able to skip ahead to any questions with which you had difficulty. • Throughout this video, I use a TI Nspire CAS CX II calculator, which is one of the approved technologies for use in this examination.
