#China #Cement # A showcase of Cement Companies in China • Established in 1907, Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd. (Huaxin) was one of the early cement corporations, and so was called ‘the cradle of China’s cement industry’. In 1994, Huaxin implemented joint stock reform and became the first A and B shares listed corporation in building material industry. In 1999, Huaxin and Holcim forged the strategic partner relationship. • As of June 30, 2021, Huaxin owned` around 250 subsidiaries and branches in 14 provinces and cities as well as 6 foreign countries including Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbek, Cambodia, Nepal and Tanzania, with total cement capacity of 115 million tons/year (grinding capacity, capacity in joint ventures are included).
