Mount Cougal Hike Springbrook National Park QLD

Mount Cougal, Springbrook National Park, QLD, Australia. • We started the hike at the end of Garden of Eden Road and followed the trail along the QLD/NSW border. Stick to the fence as it's private property on either side up until you see the sign for the national park. A fair amount of the track is overgrown, but someone has recently cleared part of the track. The rainforest section was very peaceful and we heard a Lyrebird making multiple bird sounds. The last section is very steep and has a scramble to the top. There's a cave hiding behind some boulders before you turn right at the cliff base.
