Pine Cones are everywhere in the Sierra Nevada foothills where we live. We use them in our wood stoves as kindling, but I've never really stopped to think about what they really are, what their purpose is or why they're so dang sharp. Today, I learned more than any one person should about the common Pine Cone. Turns out they're actually very interesting. • Amazon affiliate links to the video gear I use: • Canon 60D: https://amzn.to/2Fpfo6j • Rode Microphone: https://amzn.to/2Cl7mY0 • Manfrotto Tripod: https://amzn.to/2SMzdHv • Canon 28-135 IS Lens: https://amzn.to/2SMunKu • Canon 24-70 2.8 Lens: https://amzn.to/2VOJiFS • Canon 70-200 IS Lens: https://amzn.to/2SNVVPC • Follow our adventure • On Facebook:   / suburbanpilgrims   • Instagram: @suburban_pilgrims • If you like the video, and are a good person, LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and say hello in the comments. • Our channel is amazing. It's true because I wrote this statement and I also make the videos. The channel is all about ditching the comforts of home for adventure, travel, outdoors, and life lived in whatever way suites you best. We (my wife and 3 kids) sold everything we owned a while back to travel full-time in a small travel trailer. After that we moved back into a regular home to find more adventures in new ways.
