JUST A NOTE • Due to the length of these plays, I'm only summarising what is written on the pages of the source material. For greater mythological context, you can watch my AESCHYLUS episode which details the surrounding mythology, background character stories, and also (of course) a basic breakdown of who Aeschylus was as all of this will help make the play make more sense. Unfortunately with all of this information, the episode was a whopping 1 hour and 20 minutes long!! So I cut it in favour of timing, and made sure I included this information in a separate video for you guys to refer back to :) • In the next few weeks, I will also be uploading separate videos explaining the entire curse on the House of Atreus so you can watch that, too.
