Here’s my quick thoughts on the Akko Stellar Rose Linear Switches. Like the Mirror Switches, these are also manufactured by HMX that’s why I’m expecting another smooth typing experience with these switches. As per Akko’s website, the Stellar Roses are their first deep clack switch, although in my ears, I find them rather poppy, if that makes any sense. A bit low pitched compared to the Mirror Switch. Perhaps the new HMX’s T5 stem material that provides a subtle, deep sound profile makes it like so. I find these a bit too light for me though, it’s smooth yes, but perhaps a littler heavier actuation force would give a better typing experience. I think overall, I like this as much as the Mirror, both are great, as foamless builds are just right to my preference.
