The best way to learn grammar is through context. In this video, you will learn comparatives. • By comparing living in the city and living in the country, I will show you how to use comparative in English. So get ready to learn how to use the comparatives More and Less • Today I will show you more and less. They are both used to compare two or more things. What’s the difference between more and less? More is used to indicate + while less -. How do you use comparatives? As I said you will make comparisons. To do that, you will need adjectives. One example I give in this video is: living in the city is more dangerous than living in the country. Here I used the adjective “dangerous” to make my comparison. I said that the city is more (+) dangerous than the country. The structure is “more Adjective than”. You can also give the opposite idea. For example, the country is LESS dangerous THAN the city. • In this video, I will also show you exceptions. What does that mean? There is a difference between long and short adjectives. Sometimes, you can NOT use the word “more” and sometimes you can NOT use the comparative “less”. I will tell you all about it in this video. • So are you curious to learn more??
