Note that if you leave off the bank lines, HEC-RAS will automatically snap bank stations to the ends of the cross section, so we could have eliminated the step of creating bank lines for the building (or any feature you'd like to create using the entire cross section). Also, there is no need to stop editing and save edits at each step as I have done; just highlight the layer you'd like to edit (active layer name appears in magenta) and you can save all of your edits at once when you're finished.
