Lets talk about the biggest problem I see with mobile homes... If you're considering buying a manufactured home this video may help you gain clarity on your potential home purchase. I have been in the manufactured home industry for a little over 10 years and what I have noticed is some people have an idea burned into their mind of what a manufactured home is... They picture something from the 1950s or 60s, a trailer . However the most common thing people would say when they entered one our show homes is wow, these aren't what they used to be and that is 100% the truth. Homes have evolved from basic trailers with limited choices to fully customizable homes with high end finishes. The biggest problem with manufactured homes is some people don't take the time to educate themselves about everything this industry is capable of and they end up missing out on an amazing housing option. In this video I tour an old mobile home and illustrate how the way it was set up ultimately caused it's demise. If the same home was set up new to our current standards it wouldn't have had a lot of the problems it had. New homes are also built to a way higher standard than they were 60, 20 even 5 years ago. The homes being built today should never be compared to trailers because they're so much more.
