I use 10' poles for both the chainsaw and the paint roller, along with a ladder to get as high up as I can. These items are absolutely necessary for cutting a tree that you can't quite reach by hand and the only other way I can image someone pruning the tree is to climb up the tree yourself and cut it there. • In the video, I do not climb any trees to make the cuts and was still able to trim it myself. • I had originally got a quote for $1,200 to trim off several branches, so I just trimmed the branches that I needed right away, and I did it for less than $100.
