The Doerner Fir is the world's tallest Douglas fir - right here in Oregon! Winding roads take travelers through some of the most pristine forests in the nation to this site 60 miles from Coos Bay in Oregon's Coast Range mountains. Once at the trailhead, take a half-mile hike through a picturesque old-growth stand to the Doerner Fir.
