The Battle of Bouvines was fought on 27 July 1214 near the town of Bouvines in the County of Flanders. It was the concluding battle of the Anglo-French War of 1213–1214. Although estimates on the number of troops vary considerably among modern historians, at Bouvines, a French army commanded by King Philip Augustus routed a larger Allied army led by Holy Roman Emperor Otto IV in one of the rarely pitched battles of the High Middle Ages and one of the most decisive medieval engagements. • The intended function of this particular work is to serve as a source of amusement and diversion, and it must not be regarded as an entirely veracious representation of historical events or facts. • Suggest What You want to see next! • • Ayyubid–Crusader conflict • Part 1:    • BATTLE OF MONTGISARD, 1177 AD  I BALD...   • Part 2:    • BATTLE OF MARJ AYYUN, 1179 AD I BALDW...   • Part 3:    • Siege of Jacob's Ford, 1179 AD I BALD...   • Part 4:    • BATTLE OF HATTIN, 1187 AD  I SALADIN'...   • Part 5:    • SIEGE OF JERUSALEM, 1187 AD l Regain ...   • • Game: Attila Total War • Join my discord:   / discord   • Mods: • 1212 AD • Reworked Animations • Music: • [Copyright Free Orchestral] Multi-Era of War
