This week, Bob compares this new tablet to the Getac F110 tablet. The first thing that's different about these two units is that the Durabook's screen is larger than the Getac's. They both come with a front and rear camera. The F110 comes with a programable key while the U11 comes with two programmable keys. The weight difference between these two units is that the Durabook is slightly heavier, which is in part to the larger screen. The Getac is also thinner than the Durabook. The ports on the F110 include a USB port, an HDMI port, and a power port. Meanwhile, the U11 has a couple USB ports, an HDMI port, a power port, an Ethernet port, an SD card port a USB 3.0 port, an audio port, and a smart card reader. On the expense side of things, the Durabook ends up being cheaper than a brand-new F110 and you get more ports out of it. Although the F110 is upgradable, those upgrades still fall short compared to what comes on the U11 standard. The U11 also comes with a keyboard making it a hybrid laptop when you want it to be. With the F110, you would have to purchase an I-Key keyboard that you could plug into. The Durabook also has a hot-swappable battery so you can swap the battery out without having to turn the unit off. Meanwhile, the Getac has two full-size batteries and you can take one out at a time and replace it. Another thing about the Durabook has a quick-release hard drive. With this quick release, you could switch between two different hard drives on the fly.
