Then travel across the island learning all about our amazing melting-pot of cultures before traversing the switchbacks to the summit of Haleakalā. • Inside the national park, we visit a number of great stops, including Haleakalā Headquarters, Kalahaku Overlook, Summit Observatory and Summit Visitor Center. Please take care in visiting these areas as they are incredibly fragile. • From there we take an upcountry picnic stop before heading into the cowboy town of Makawao. Depending on weather and time we make a number of other stops before returning you to your hotel where we picked you up that morning.
