In this video, German probate lawyer and estate planning expert Bernhard Schmeilzl, Esq., explains the nature of a German Grant of Succession, the famous ERBSCHEIN. Under German law, there is usually no personal representative, i.e. no executor or administrator. Instead, the heirs (Erben) administer the estate directly.
