This is exactly what it took to get my very own Time-Lost Proto-Drake. • Start a party or join a group in your CRZ Cross-Realm Zone and keep between 4-5 people so that the 4 spots are covered, and the additional person can fly around and cover breaks so that you never miss a spawn. I can CONFIRM if you are in a party and each person tags it by means of taunt, damage, non-damage abilites, each person will get the Timeless Proto-Drake. I have personally experienced it myself. Make sure you set up a macro as well or have silverdragon to notify others in your group so that they can get over to you in time. • I would suggest finding a few people who are going to stay patient and dedicated to camp this drake. Trust is important and getting information from others can help you keep at it. Add each other on Battlenet, and constantly update each other if a person is out and missed a spawn. • You can ask in General chat and see what others come up with regarding spawns but be weary of the infromation you get, and NEVER share your data unless you are prepared for many people to stack on you. • For starters you need to understand the four spawn points in The Storm Peaks of Northrend which are • /way 31.6, 69.5 Lake • /way 35.3, 76.8 Falls • /way 51.0, 71.3 Village • /way 52.3, 34.7 Ulduar • Many speculate that there is other spawn points but I haven't seen enough proof to spend my time on it. • Vyragosa shares the same spawn and spawn time as the TLPD. You will get sick in tired of seeing her and killing her will keep you at peace. The spawn time has been said to be anywhere between 45mins-24hours. I myself noticed it usually is 4 hours to 6 hours and sometimes has gone on up to 7 hour or so, usually if it goes anywhere passed that you will start thinking you missed a spawn. Once you kill Vyragosa you could either wait 45mins or go relax until the spawn time window opens up which seems to be 4 hours after her despawn or skinned. Vyragosa is the only one which can be skinned, and both TLPD and Vyragosa if not skinned will take 30mins to despawn. • I have seen some say that if there is too many rare spawns up that it will not spawn Time-Lost Proto-Drake or Vyragosa. I myself do not believe that to be accurate as most spawn times have been pretty accurate during the typical 4-6 hour window. • Addons • I suggest grabbing these addons and be sure to adjust/test your alert sounds, and be sure to add TLPD/Vyragosa to custom npcs just to be 100% it will alert you that they are up if they are flying in your screen. Silverdragon is pretty great and in fact will notify whichever channel you designate to by scrolling over with you mouse over the rare it will alert your party. • NPCSCAN, NPCSCAN overlay • Silverdragon • Rarescanner • Macro I used below. I reccommend tagging it through a taunt or non critical spell so that you do not kill it if you are in a party with others, and you want to make sure others have a similiar macro so that you can spam it if you have stackers.
