In this video, we get behind the wheel of the facelifted BMW X7. This three-row SUV should be the best of what a BMW SUV should be like. We find out how true that is as we dive into the controversial styling, see how well the cabin is done and how this big rig performs with a new diesel engine under the hood and with the sharper M Sport tune. • A significant change with this update to the X7 is the new engine. The 3.0-litre inline-six diesel is now at a higher state of tune making a significant 340Ps and 700 Nm. There’s now also 12PS and 200 Nm of mild-hybrid assistance. This pairs with a rear-biased AWD system and the 8-speed ZF automatic for a tested 0 to 100 kmph time of 5.7s • Notable features are full LED lighting, HUD display, 24-way adjustable heated and cooled front seats, five-zone climate control, ambient lighting, 16-speaker Harman kardon audio, 360-degree cameras and a three-part sunroof being highlights. • • What do you think of the X7?
