Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the first of its kind initiative - ‘Pradhan Mantri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PM PVTG) Development Mission’ in Jharkhand. The Rs 24,000-crore project was first announced during the budget 2023-24 and is aimed at the development of the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
