Metra E9 9913 Overpass Indiana Harbor Belt in La Grange, IL 1992! On May 10, 1992, in La Grange, Illinois, eastbound Metra commuter train 1318 passed over a southbound Indiana Harbor Belt Freight. The on-time push-mode Metra train left La Grange at 3:42 PM, en route to downtown Chicago on Burlington Northern's triple-track raceway. • Burlington Northern E9A 9913 was built by EMD for the Chicago, Burlington Quincy in January 1956. Numbered CB Q 9988, it was renumbered BN 9983 after the March 1970 BN merger. It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in September 1973 and renumbered 9913. Retired in October 1992, BN 9913 was repainted into CB Q colors and now resides at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in Miami, Florida. • Indiana Harbor Belt SW1500 9207 was built by EMD in August 1966, then rebuilt and renumbered IHB 1515 in 2005.
