We also note that all models of the V7 have the same emptying procedure. We take the handheld component off to empty the unit. We highlight that Dyson call this the hygienic dirt ejector system. • We have the Dyson V8 Absolute and show that, like the V7, it has a 0.14 gallon capacity dust canister. It also empties the same way as the Dyson V7. In the case of the V8 we empty the unit with the wand and cleaner head attached (simply to show that it can be done). All models of V8 empty the same way. • We then show the two configurations available with the Dyson V10s: 1 - the Motorhead, and 2 - the Animal Absolute. We empty the Dyson V10 motorhead, highlight the 0.14 gallon dust bin capacity, and also show that this unit cannot be emptied with the wand attached. Emptying it requires the point and shoot method. We also empty our V10 Absolute with the 0.20 gallon dust canister. We discuss the problems we've had with the sticky V10 Absolute push tab - so much so that we finally broke it. We point out that you empty the V10 Animal in exactly the same way as you empty the V10 Absolute. • We have the V11 Absolute which empties the same way as the V11 Animal and the V11 Torque Drive. As a matter of fact, the V11s empty the same way as the V10 Animal and V10 Absolute. All of these V11s also have a 0.20 gallon dust canister. • The last of the V11s is the rather special Outsize model. This has a 0.50 gallon dust canister - a full 2.5 times the size of the normal V11s. It empties in pretty much the same way as the smaller V11s but it has a very large handheld component.
