Our experienced engineers are focussed on identifying potential mechanical, safety and process line problems before they cause unnecessary downtime. • Thanks to our efficient maintenance team, a full overhaul in our workshop – if properly planned – can be completed within a few days, not including transport time. • Preventive maintenance, step by step • The video starts with the arrival of the equipment or parts in our service workshop. Before the actual work we check if the required paperwork, such as MSDS and Cleaning Declaration, is in order. After that, our expert engineers immediately set to work on disassembling and cleaning the individual components. • The next step is quality control and reporting. A drive unit of a Nauta® mixer, for example, has close to 220 components. Each component is closely examined in the overhaul workshop to check whether the wear and tear is within the acceptable tolerances. If there are unexpected signs of wear and tear on any components, then these components are replaced by new parts. We always have more than 5000 parts readily in stock and our own machining facilities are also available to quickly replace the worn part. • When all components are reassembled, we perform a test run to check for vibrations, noises, and heat development, followed by recoating of the painted parts.
