How to make wooden hearts from a 2x4. (How to make Valentines Day heart decorations.) (How to make Valentines Day wooden hearts)In this video I make 12 hearts 9 x9 and 12 hearts 5 x5 . The larger hearts are made with 6 layers of 2 x4 lumber. The smaller hearts are made from 4 layers. I glued each heart together stacking them on the face or the wide sections of the 2 x4 lumber. Once dry, I stenciled a heart shape to the edge. I then cut out the shape on the band saw and used the first heart as master to shape the rest. After that I sanded all edges with a belt sander.
