With a post launch cycle including mods, free updates and DLC expansions, Starfield is set up to operate as an online platform. Building off of the legacy of 2006's Oblivion Horse Armor DLC sold via the Xbox Live Marketplace, Bethesda has now built an internal sales platform for Skyrim and Starfield called Creations. • In this episode, we'll discuss how RPG gaming evolved since 2006. From Fallout 4 and Skyrim's introduction into Creation Club, Todd Howard and the team at Bethesda have been focused on extending their single player title's lifespan. The new Creations platform allows modders the chance to officially sell their DLC offerings and DLC Expansions like Skyrim's Bards College Expansion. The question is whether Bethesda's value proposition of DLCs like Starfield's Trackers Alliance in the Creation marketplace and the Shattered Space story expansion will bring enough value to new players and old players alike.
