The large LCD screen, its easy to use controls, and access to every radio band you will ever need in an emergency make this one of the best go to radios when times become challenging. • Features I like about this radio: • AM Reception is very good. • SW Reception is very good, when you add an external wire. • RDS function. • Easy to access dual alarm feature. • Large 3 LCD display. • Clock and Date are always displayed when the radio is off or on. • Temperature and Humidity gauge. Could come in handy. • Flashlight is one of the best I've used on a radio. • Reading lamps on the solar panel are nice and bright. • Dynamo and Solar power options. • Audio quality is good. • Replaceable 18650 Lithium battery. • Guard over the tuning and volume knobs. • Easy tuning of radio. • Direct entry keypad. • Alert mode which can be used when the radio is on. • Features I wish it had: • More AM presets, 25 is not enough on a crowded evening band. • A 2-meter HAM band would be interesting. • Bluetooth. • An MP3 playback of some kind. I find that welcoming feature. • A better listening experience when using headphones, there is a lot noticeable hiss when using them. • Overall this radio would be the one I recommend to the person who only needs a radio, clock and flashlight.
