On the long list of additions in the release notes is a set of tools for working with timecode. A new CHOP, additional features for several existing CHOPs and more were added, all supporting timecode which can conform to the SMPTE standard. • In this video, Jack DiLaura walks you through the new timecode tools added in TouchDesigner 2023.11290. You’ll take a deep dive into the Timecode CHOP, experimenting with the available parameters, and using it in conjunction with other operators. • Along the way, you’ll also look at timecode support that’s been woven into operators like the Movie File In TOP.
