Martin's Rage : Martin Nievera's concert with the Rage Band at the University of Life Theater and Recreation Arena (ULTRA) [1984]. This concert was a big switch for Martin from singing sweet, mellow ballads to singing rock. Rehearsals were accelerated -- and the production schedule was tight. In less than a month, Martin had to quickly learn a dozen new songs and all production logistics had to be in place. Stage blocking as shown in the Running with The Night video clip was done at 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning in the open air sports arena of ULTRA. Martin was a real trooper, performer and entertainer to have gone through this exhilirating and high-energy experience -- a rock bootcamp . • Note: The intro vocal solo in Rocking in Paradise was sung by Juan Miguel-Salvador (Rage Band's Musical Director and male lead vocals); Female vocal harmonies done by: Ceres Jacinto, Onie Castillo Marissa Bunag.
