ATTUKAL PONGALA Festival In Thiruvananthapuram Is INSANE Foreigners Roadtrip South India

After spending a few days in Kovalam, Kerala, we learnt about the 10 day Attukal Pongala Festival taking place in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), so we take a slight detour to check it out on our way to Varkala. In Trivandrum, we are confronted with one of our hottest days yet and having to navigate some of the busiest streets we have seen so far in South India, while witnessing the (historic) Guiness World Records largest congregation of women for a festival, in the world!
