Splatter enemies and claim your turf as the ink-spewing, squid-like characters called Inklings in Nintendo's new third-person action shooter exclusively for the WiiU console. Challenge players online in chaotic 4-on-4 turf wars and unleash squid powers to ink your way to victory. This mode will open up once enough global players reach this level. • Spend in-game coins earned through playing online battles to obtain different Inkling styles and firepower at the shopping mall. Gear up with different weapons sets (that consist of a main weapon, sub weapon, and special weapon), headgear, clothes and shoes. Some gear you equip will even boost your stats. • Select between multiple control options on the WiiU GamePad controller, including using gyroscopic controls for pinpoint aiming and intuitive controls. You can also use just the L and R sticks to look around if you prefer a more traditional control scheme. • Tap in a Splatoon series amiibo figure to access new challenges.
