Husband and were were very affectionate. • One day, Hou Yi 后羿 got an elixir of immortality, he handed over to Chang'e 嫦娥. Peng Meng 蓬蒙, Hou Yi's 后羿 apprentice wanted to steal the elixir of immortality. Whilst Hou Yi was out hunting, he fored Chang'e 嫦娥handed over this medicine. Chang'e 嫦娥 had no choice, she swallowed the elixir of immortality at once. She was immediately as light as a swallow and flew towards the moon 嫦娥奔月. • So, on this day everyyear, people worship the moon, whole family enjoy the moon and cherish the memory of Chang'e 嫦娥.
