How to pull error codes off a Maytag Bravos washing machine • Please like, subscribe, favorite - it really helps me out a lot. • With power off, ie nothing lit up on machine... • 1. 4-5 turns counterclockwise • 2. clockwise 1 click, half second pause • 3. clockwise 1 click, half second pause • 4. clockwise 1 click, half second pause • 5. counterclockwise 1 click, half second pause • 6. clockwise 1 click • 7. all lights should be blinking now - you are in diagnostic mode! • 8. turn clockwise till screen reads 02, this is the Automatic Read Mode (there's 9 modes) • 9. press start, machine will now quickly test major wash functions • 10. beep will note it's done, plus led screen blank, and green light indicating Done. Power off by pressing Power button • 11. repeat 1-7, then turn clockwise to 01, the fault code display mode • 12. hit start, and turn clockwise one click at a time. each click will give you a code, in order of newest to oldest. • 13. go back to CL and press/hold Start for 3 seconds to clear codes. • 14. power off • Tips - practice makes perfect. It was having issues and making a loud grinding noise during agitation for a while, and then finally just stopped agitating. A sock got caught in the belt and I just cleaned it out, and tightened the pulley wheel. Cleared the codes and away we went.
