At the top ranks of Leupold's made-in-America hunting riflescopes you'll find the VX-6HD. Recently, I topped my new Mossberg rifle with one of these bad boys for a bucket-list Coues deer hunt in Mexico. This particular VX-6HD was in the 3-18x44mm configuration with a Custom Dial System (CDS), side parallax adjustment, and extended throw lever to make it extra snappy to get on deer quickly and accurately; the illuminated FireDot reticle and electronic leveling system were extra perks to the same end.
