There were absolutely no short cuts taken here. The build started as a stock Jeep Commando colored in a boring green paint indicative of the 70s. Now, having a documented frame off restoration, the Commando is painted is a bright yellow and offers a fuel injected engine backed by a 5-spd manual transmission. It simply doesn't get much better. Under the hood is a Chevrolet high performance, tuned port, 350 CID V8 engine. Backing the reliable, easy firing engine, is a New Venture 4500 transmission (manual 5-spd).
