Bushing Vs Non Bushing Dies

Redding is definitely a big name in reloading world. Especially their type s bushing dies are known to perform really good. Anyway there is a trick that you must know. The die will come with an expander ball or a pin retainer. if you use the die with the expander ball you will sacrifice the ability to control the neck tension with the bushing. • Of course if you have some cases with a bent neck you will need to use the expanding ball, otherwise take it off and put on the pin retainer.
