CRUISING THE DUBAI CREEK Dhow Dinner Cruise

This week, we took a Dubai Creek Dhow Dinner Cruise. The two hour cruise was on a traditional wooden dhow boat. Dhow boats are used for fishing and trading as well as dinner cruises. For the dinner cruise, we were treated to a buffet dinner, entertaining horse show, and beautiful views of the Dubai Creek. At night, the boats are illuminated with colorful lights to add to the experience. The Dubai Creek is located in the heart of Dubai and separates the two areas of Deira and Bur Dubai. On the Deira side of the Dubai Creek is the Gold Souk. On the Bur Dubai side of the Creek is the textile souks. Abra boats (water taxis) are constantly taking people across the Creek from one side to the other. We definitely enjoyed our trip aboard the Aisha dhow boat. The Dubai Creek will be even more amazing after the completion of the Dubai Creek Tower.
